BrandMoney interviews Pam Onyanyo about expanding business in Africa

On March 7, 2012 tune in to BrandMoney to listen to Pam Onyanyo from Cedar International talk about expanding small and medium businesses into Africa.Pam Onyanyo is President/CEO of CedarInternational and is “Featured in BusinessWeek” as one and upcoming women entrepreneurs in North America. She is a true champion and understands what it takes to successfully close a business transaction in Africa and other developing countries.”Ms. Onyanyo has over 18 years of management and International business experience.  She has held numerous executive positions in diverse companies including IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Onyanyo responsibilities included business development, strategy planning, operations management, and corporate risk management.

Ms. Onyanyo managed PricewaterhouseCoopers’ integrated consulting solutions servicing fortune 100/500 companies globally where she was responsible for managing a multi-million dollar practice of PwC Operations and Controls service line. Prior to formation of Cedar Ms. Onyanyo founded a successful management consulting firm IMCG that provided Corporate Risk Management and Enterprise Resource Planning.

In her current role as President & CEO of Cedar International, she is responsible for the overall management of Cedar operations on both domestic and international fronts. She is constantly identifying and forging new alliance partners to position Cedar to be one of the best in delivering the services and products Cedar offers to its clients globally.

Through her efforts, Cedar has successfully completed major transactions to East Africa that involved US multinational manufacturing companies with Exim-Bank offering credit facility.

She is also the founder of OBRA Consulting a management consulting firm that provides Organizational Change Management, IT Change Readiness and Enterprise Project Management services to small and middle market companies.

Ms. Onyanyo is passionate about community development especially areas that effect underprivileged. She works with inner-city children both abroad in Africa “Kenya” and in the State of Georgia “Atlanta” she is also a mentor to many young girls and upcoming entrepreneurs.
